How to have any personal information Pump Radio holds about you removed — including anything from texting or WhatsApping the studio.
A message you send the studio by SMS or WhatsApp is deleted from the station's messaging system as soon as the presenter marks it as read, or one hour after it arrived, whichever is sooner.
What remains is your contact record — your number, the name you gave, how often and when you have messaged, and any presenter's note — and a delivery record holding the last three digits of your number. Both are deleted on request, below. Our privacy policy has the full picture.
If you would like us to delete any other personal information we hold about you — an email conversation, a name given in a message that was read out, or anything you are unsure about — send a request to:
Please put Data deletion request in the subject line and tell us the phone number or email address you contacted us from, so we can find what is yours. We will confirm what we found and deleted within one month, and usually much sooner.
Deleting your data from us does not remove your messages from your own phone, from WhatsApp, or from your mobile network. Those are held under WhatsApp's privacy policy and your network's, and you control them from your own device and accounts.
