Pump! Discovered is our show for new, unsigned and under-the-radar music — fresh productions, unreleased bits, white labels and bootlegs that deserve a proper airing. It goes out two ways: original music you can stand behind is considered for DAB and online; everything else gets the underground edition, on Mixcloud only. Upload your track, tell us about you, and the Discovered team will have a listen.

Made by people, for people who make things. The producer finishing a track at 2am, the singer who recorded the vocal themselves, the DJ with an edit that’s been sitting on a hard drive for a year. Hard work deserves exposure, and that’s what this show is for. We’re not anti-AI: use it as a tool if it helps, and just tell us where. But a track a service generated end-to-end isn’t something we’ll play — there’s no one behind it to champion.

Drag your track in below — MP3, WAV, FLAC, AIFF or M4A up to 300 MB. We read the length and bitrate straight away so you can check it's the right export.

We check it

Every file is virus-scanned before it's stored anywhere. Clean files go into our vault and the Discovered team gets an email with your details and a download link.

We listen

The team listens to everything. If it's a fit we decide which edition of the show it belongs on (see below) and get in touch at the email you give us — so make sure it's one you check.

Where your track can go out depends on the rights behind it

DAB + online

Pump! Discovered

For original work you can back with an ownership claim — your own productions, or tracks whose samples and vocals are cleared and licensed. Give us an ISRC, PRS Tunecode, label and publisher where you have them, and the track can be considered for airplay on DAB Digital Radio as well as the online stream, Radioplayer and catch-up. Our broadcast output has to be fully licensed with provenance for every track, so this is the route that needs the paperwork.

Mixcloud only

Pump! Discovered Underground

For everything that can't clear that bar yet: bootlegs, white labels, unofficial remixes and edits, or tracks with samples that haven't been cleared. The same show and the same team, but it goes out on Mixcloud only, kept separate from our DAB broadcast. Nothing here goes on air on DAB unless the rights get sorted, in which case just tell us and we'll move it across.

ISRC The International Standard Recording Code: a 12-character code that identifies this exact recording, assigned by your label or distributor when it's released. It's how plays get matched to you. Leave blank if it hasn't got one yet.

PRS Tunecode The reference PRS for Music gives a song when it's registered as a work (you'll find it in your PRS account). It helps us report airplay so writers get paid. Optional, but worth adding.

Pump! Discovered terms

The basics, in plain English

By sending us a track you agree to these terms. They sit alongside our site terms and privacy policy. Pump! Discovered is run by Pump Radio, owned and operated by PacketPipe Ltd (Company No. 12105604).

It has to be yours. You confirm you made the track, or you have permission from everyone who did (co-producers, vocalists, the owners of any samples) to send it to us and to let us play it. If it's a remix, edit or bootleg, you take responsibility for that. If someone tells us it isn't yours, we will take it down and may ask you to explain.
No AI-generated tracks. Pump! Discovered is for music people made. A track generated end-to-end by an AI service (Suno, Udio or similar) isn't eligible and won't be played, whoever wrote the prompt. Using AI for part of a track — a vocal, a stem, lyrics, mastering — is allowed if you declare it on the form. We check files for generator markers, and an undeclared AI track is treated the same as not having the rights: it comes down, and we may stop taking submissions from you.
What you're letting us do. You give Pump Radio a free, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to play the track on Pump! Discovered — on DAB Digital Radio and our online stream where the rights allow, or on the Mixcloud-only underground edition where they don't — to include it in the show's recordings and online catch-up (Mixcloud, SoundCloud and similar), and to use the title, artist name and artwork you give us to promote the show and the track. That's it — we won't sell it, release it, sync it or hand it to anyone else without asking you first.
You keep everything. You keep all copyright and ownership in the track. Nothing here stops you releasing, selling or sending it anywhere else, and you can release it while it's on the show.
No promises. Sending a track doesn't mean we'll play it. Every submission is listened to, but what goes out is our editorial call and we can't reply to everyone. We don't pay for plays, and you don't pay us to be considered.
Airplay reporting. Where we can, we report plays to PRS for Music and PPL so writers and performers are paid for airplay, which is why we ask for an ISRC and a PRS Tunecode. It's your job to make sure your registrations are accurate; we can't chase or correct them for you.
Two editions. Which edition a track goes out on is our call, based on the rights you can show us. Original work backed by an ownership claim, or work whose samples are cleared, may be broadcast on DAB and online. Anything else — bootlegs, white labels, unofficial remixes, uncleared samples — goes out on the Mixcloud-only underground edition and is never broadcast on DAB. If you tell us a track is cleared and it isn't, that's on you.
Taking it down. Email discovered@pumpradio.net and we'll stop playing the track and remove it from catch-up where we control the upload. We will keep our own submission record. Recordings already published elsewhere, or downloaded by listeners, are outside our control.
Your file and details. Uploads are virus-scanned and stored privately; your contact details are used only to talk to you about the track and are handled under our privacy policy. Files we don't use may be deleted.
Keep it legal. Don't send anything unlawful, defamatory, hateful, or that infringes someone else's rights, and don't upload anything other than audio. We may reject, remove or stop accepting submissions from anyone at our discretion.
Liability. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law. Beyond that, PacketPipe Ltd isn't liable for any loss arising from your submission or from anything we do or don't play. You'll cover us for claims that arise from you not having the rights you've confirmed.
Changes. We may update these terms; the current version is always on this page. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.

What Pump! Discovered is for

The music that can't always go out on the dial

Pump! Discovered exists to break new names, and it comes in two editions. Original music you can stand behind — your own work, or work with cleared samples — is considered for the main show, which can go out on DAB Digital Radio as well as online. Our DAB output has to be fully licensed with provenance for every track, which is why we ask for the ISRC, Tunecode, label and publisher.

Plenty of brilliant music can't clear that bar yet — a bootleg that's doing the rounds, a white label with no paperwork, an unofficial remix. That's what Pump! Discovered Underground is for: the same show, kept separate from the broadcast, published on Mixcloud only and promoted in its own right.

We're after house, UK garage, speed garage, bassline, old school and anything else that moves a floor. Finished tracks only, please — no loops or previews. Send your best export, tell us the story, and make sure we can reach you. If we play it, we'll credit you and let you know.
